Concept and performance: Gina Hoch-Stall Presented by Cleveland Dance Festival Recording Date: November 2, 2018
As-yet-untitled highlights the dialogue, humor, and behind-the-scenes aspects of the creative process. My intent is to bring the audience into the real time creation of a contemporary dance. By foregrounding a volunteered object and interacting directly with audience members, I am able to release much of the preciousness that can lead viewers to feels as if they don’t understand or aren’t welcome in the world of concert dance.
