GINA HOCH-STALL |
HomeSpace: Beginnings
The work explored the concept of home for college-aged adults. Hoch-Stall conducted interviews with 16 Temple University students about their experiences with moving, roommates, and creating their own home-spaces after moving out of their childhood home. The piece used original choreography, a sound score that incorporated text from the interviews as well as a few cardboard boxes to let the audience into the arguments and heavy lifting the that go along with the desire to have a space to call one's own.
