Embodiment Coaching begins with the premise that your body does not need fixing. It needs tending, collaboration, and an escape from the expectation of constant, linear improvement.
As an Embodiment Coach, my role is to help you recognize how your physical intelligence is already communicating with you, drawing from my movement and somatic experience. As coach and client, we learn to decode sensations and respond to your needs through methods that are rigorous, but never punishing. Our sessions may range from body scans to core training, and from heart pumping action to deep anatomical exploration. All with an ongoing commitment to following your physical experience and insight.
Through our journey together, you will develop the skills to decipher your body’s cues and move with an understanding of what is right for you. We will work to expand your palate of physical practices to find a routine that is flexible and rewarding. When our time together comes to a natural end, you will be confident in continuing your journey of embodied exploration.
